So it's just about a month away til the day we couldn't wait for since the last whistle blew in May. Yes the Cricket's not bad, but it's time for the real action to commence- The Football season is back.
It's time for you to start pondering about the important things just before the season starts- has your manager made the right signing's, what are you expectations for the season and in some people's cases dreaming of that promotion, title or trip to Wembley way!
This is a great time for a football fan. It doesn't matter if you know that your team will blatenly struggle next season, or that your cash strapped- you can relax now and know that everyone will start on zero points (well not quite ask Southampton fans) and have a chance of going all the way and giving you a lovely warm feeling on a Saturday afternoon at around five.
On the dark side your team could fail all your expectations come August 8th or 15th and all those summer transfers could seem pointless, but always remember there will be 37 or 45 games (depending on your team's league) left for them to put it right.
Here's to a great 2009/10 full of action, drama, thrills and spills.
